Rockwell Collins Sports Park Rules
WHO CAN USE
The
Rockwell Collins Sports Park, hereinafter the “Sports Park”, is available for
use only by:
- Rockwell Collins employees and their immediate family members
- Rockwell Collins Recreation Center members
- Rockwell Collins Child
Development Center as long as the activity does not conflict with other Rockwell
Collins’ uses, including activities sponsored by the Rockwell Collins Recreation
Center and Rockwell Collins Child Development Center.
The Sports Park is not
available to the general public without the prior written approval of the
Rockwell Collins Recreation Center.
CONDITIONS OF USE
The use of the Sports Park is
subject to the following:
- No person shall remain within the Sports
Park at any time other than during the hours between dawn and dusk, seven (7) days a
week.
- No
children under the age of thirteen shall use the Sports Park unless supervised
by either
- a Rockwell Collins employee
- the spouse of a Rockwell Collins employee,
- an employee of the Rockwell Collins Recreation Center or
- an employee of the Rockwell Collins Child Development Center.
- No
person shall operate a vehicle or any other motorized vehicle on the grass or
the trails of the Sports Park.
- No
person shall cause a vehicle to remain within the parking areas surrounding the
Sports Park in excess of twenty-four (24) hours at any given time unless prior
approval has been granted by Rockwell Collins Security. Vehicles parked in the
parking areas surrounding the Sports Park for which approval has not been
granted will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- No
person shall willfully harm, harass, trap, confine, catch, or possess any
wildlife within the Sports Park.
- No
person shall willfully destroy or remove any tree, shrub, vine, wildflower,
grass, fern, moss, leaves, cones, or dead or downed wood within the Sports Park.
- No
person may light, build, or maintain a fire within the Sports Park.
- No
person may carry or possess a weapon within the Sports Park.
- No
person may possess gunpowder or other combustibles, explosives, or fireworks
within the Sports Park.
- No
person shall use skateboards or rollerblades on the tennis courts or trails
of the Sports Park.
- No person shall hit golf balls within the Sports Park.
- No person shall bury anyone or anything, including the spreading or depositing
of cremains, within the Sports Park.
- No
person may bring into or possess in the Sports Park any animal other than dogs
or domestic cats. Any person bringing a dog or domestic cat into the Sports Park
shall keep the animal secured by a leash not exceeding six (6) feet in length.
Persons walking cats or dogs in the Sports Park are required to pick up after
their pets.
- No
person shall use or possess any glass containers in the Sports Park.
- No
person shall possess or consume any alcoholic beverages in the Sports Park.
This rule does not apply to Rockwell Collins events or events sponsored by
Rockwell Collins where permission has been specifically authorized or granted by
agreement.
- No
person shall use loudspeakers or any other sound amplifying equipment within the
Sports Park excepting Rockwell Collins company events or events sponsored by
Rockwell Collins where permission has been specifically authorized or granted by
agreement.
- No
person shall bring into the Sports Park any trash, refuse, or waste material.
- No
person shall solicit the sale of goods or services within or around the
surrounding areas of the Sports Park.
- No
person shall use any area or facility or the Sports Park for any purpose other
than for the purpose for which it was designed or designated.
- No
person shall solicit for, hold, or sponsor a special event in the Sports Park
without the prior written permission of the Rockwell Collins Recreation Center.
Such permission will be subject to providing proof of liability insurance in
an amount not less than $500,000 combined single limits for injury or death or
property damage per occurrence. Such insurance shall name Rockwell Collins,
Inc. and Match Play Tennis Centers Inc. as an additional insured. A certificate
of insurance satisfying the above conditions shall be provided to Rockwell
Collins no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled event.
ENFORCEMENT
Rockwell Collins
Security shall be authorized to remove any person who violates any of these
rules and regulations from the park.
SEVERABILITY
The provisions of
these rules and regulations are severable. If any word, phrase, clause,
sentence, section, provision, or part of these rules and regulations should be
held invalid or unconstitutional, it shall not affect the validity of the
remaining provisions, and it is hereby declared to be the intent of the
Commissioners Court that these rules and regulations would have been adopted as
to the remaining portions, regardless of the invalidity of any part.
LIABILITY
- Rockwell Collins assumes no responsibility or obligation for any injury that
may occur on the Sports Park premises or while using the Sports Park
facilities.

Rockwell Collins assumes no responsibility or obligation for damage to any
vehicle or property owned by users of the Sports Park property.
EFFECTIVE DATE
These Rules and Regulations shall
become effective on June 1, 2006. All previously adopted Rules and
Regulations are superseded and repealed effective the same date.
