Babysitting Service: The "Rec Room"

Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the children of our members to play while their parent(s)/guardian(s) participate in activities and classes at the Recreation Center.
Label all Items
For your convenience please label all items you bring to the Rec Room. This
includes bags, cups, bottles, pacifiers, coats, hats and mittens. THANK YOU.
Change of Clothes/Diapers
Please provide a change of clothes for your infant/toddler. Parents should
provide diapers and wipes for infants. For health reasons our staff no longer
changes diapers. You will be immediately summoned to the Rec Room if your
child’s diaper needs changed.
No Food or Drink
No food or drink is allowed in the Rec Room except infant bottles. We
will feed formula bottles, but not breastmilk bottles. (Due to the risk of
infectious disease)
Restroom Usage
Please take your child to the public Restroom before dropping them off in the Rec
Room. Restroom and drink breaks will be provided as necessary.
Lounge
Children under 12 years of age may not be left in the Lounge Area
unattended. They must be with a parent/guardian.
Locker Rooms
As a courtesy to all members the Locker Rooms are off limits to children
attending the Rec Room. Please drop off children in the Rec Room prior to using
the Locker Rooms.
Drop Off/ Pick Up
The parent or guardian that drops off the child must also pick up the child
unless written notice is given to the child care attendant on duty.
Log In/ Log Out
Parents or guardians must log in their child(ren)’s names and ages
upon entry into the Rec Room. The digital clock in the Rec Room is used for
time in and out logging.
Two (2) Hour Time Limit
There is a two hour time limit for children attending the Rec Room. Misuse
of this privilege will result in your termination of the Rec Room privilege.
Parent/Guardian Must be On Site
Parents or guardians must remain in the Recreation Center while their child
is in the Rec Room. If the parent or guardian wants to use the outdoor
recreation facilities they must notify the child care attendant and sign out at
the Front Desk.
Ten Minute Cry Limit
If your child cries continuously for ten minutes you will be paged to the
Rec Room to attend to them.
Discipline
Children who are aggressive or disruptive in the Rec Room will be written
up and placed in a "Time Out", one minute for each year of age.
Sickness
Parents will be notified to pick up their child if the child exhibits any
of the following symptoms:
Personal Toys
Please do not send toys from home as we do not want them to get lost or
broken. Any child over five (5) can bring in an age appropriate toy such
as homework or GameBoy, but the Rec Room and child care attendants are not
responsible for those that are lost or broken.
Movies
Your child may bring G-rated videos from home to show in the Rec Room.
Please label any video you send along.

time slips and paying by one of the following methods:
